Boxer on the Wilderness: Action Film
This is a sports action short film I edited some time ago. Boxing has always been one of my favorite subjects in cinema, and I’ve drawn many of my editing techniques from classic works such as Raging Bull and Rocky. In this project, I aimed to create a manga-inspired, surreal world by employing dynamic camera angles and movements, extreme slow motion through time-remapping, and richly layered sound design.
これは、私がかつて編集を手がけたスポーツアクション短編映画です。ボクシングは、個人的に最も好きな映画題材のひとつであり、『レイジング・ブル』や『ロッキー』といったクラシック作品から多くの編集技法を学び、大きな影響を受けてきました。本作では、ダイナミックなカメラアングルやカメラワーク、タイムリマップによる極端なスローモーション、そして重層的なサウンドデザインを駆使し、マンガ的な非現実世界の構築を目指しました。
